In a shocking incident, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team investigating a cyber crime case was attacked by the accused in Delhi on Thursday. The incident took place in Bijwasan area when the investigating agency team was investigating the case. Local police immediately reached the spot to control the situation and ensure the safety of the officials.
According to the information, this incident happened when a team had reached Bijwasan area to investigate the PPPYL cyber app fraud case. During the investigation, the team was attacked by the accused and his family members. The accused has been identified as Ashok Sharma. An assistant director was injured in the attack. One accused managed to escape from the spot. The local police was immediately informed and a team reached the spot. Efforts are on to nab the fleeing suspect.
