Two minor brothers and sisters were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their home in Bengaluru on Thursday. Police gave this information on Friday. According to police, seven-year-old Shubham and three-year-old Siya were allegedly strangulated to death with a rope. Children’s father Sunil Kumar Sahu has accused wife Mamta of killing the children due to marital dispute.

Mother was present at home at the time of the incident

When Sahu, 30, a rickshaw puller in Jharkhand, returned to his home in Subramanyampura around 9.30 pm on Thursday night, he found his children dead, while his wife had minor injuries on her neck. Sahu took his children and wife to the hospital. Sahu has claimed in the complaint that his wife killed the children out of despair and frustration due to the disputes in their marital life. However, Mamata has denied any involvement in the crime and police said she was at home at the time of the incident. Police have confirmed from CCTV footage that the father was not present at the time of the incident.
