He said that everyone is equal in the eyes of law. Madani said that when the sad facts started coming to light that bulldozers were being run on the basis of bias and a particular community was being targeted under the guise of law, then Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind had to approach the Supreme Court for justice. What did the Supreme Court say?

Regarding the bulldozer action, the Supreme Court said that it will issue guidelines not only for a particular community but for all citizens on the issue of demolition of properties. The court said that its guidelines will be applicable throughout India. Along with this, the court said that it is making it clear that merely being an accused or guilty of a person cannot be the basis for demolition of property.
