According to the Meteorological Department, there may be severe cold in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh from next week. During this period, along with cold wave, dense fog may also occur in these states.
According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of cold wave in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad on December 13. At the same time, cold will increase in Delhi and its surrounding areas from December 14.

Dense fog may be seen over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 24 hours. At the same time, light fog will be seen in some states including Bihar and Eastern UP during the morning.
