Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in Ranchi, Jharkhand on Sunday. Earlier he addressed an election rally in Gumla. In Gumla, PM Modi accused Congress of trying to break the unity of ST, SC and OBC. He has accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) led alliance of looting the state’s rich resources like minerals, forests, sand and coal.
The Prime Minister said, ‘Congress knows that if the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes unite, they will pose a threat to the existence of the party. This is the reason why the royal family of Congress is bent upon breaking their unity, they want to snatch reservation. He said, ‘Congress is trying to pit one tribal community against another. With the agenda of breaking the strength of the tribal society, she is pitting Munda against Oraon, Lohra against Kharia, Kharwar against Korwa etc.

The Prime Minister said that Congress cannot tolerate tribals in high positions, which is why it opposed Draupadi Murmu on the post of President and continues to insult her. He also mentioned former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren and said that the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha insulted this tribal leader.
PM Modi claimed that this has posed a serious threat to ‘Roti, Mati and Beti’. He also accused the ruling government of encouraging infiltrators. Accusing the JMM-led government of earning crores of rupees by selling land, rivers and mountains of Jharkhand and smuggling sand, he said, ‘Those who have looted public money will spend their life in jail, they will have to return the money.’ He alleged that the alliance leaders were not only looting resources but also taking bribes for issuing birth and death certificates.
Modi said that such people have no right to remain in power. He said that the target is to make three crore women ‘Lakhpati Didi’. He said that Ragi cultivation will be promoted and it will bring opportunities and prosperity to the farmers of Jharkhand. He said, ‘This is Modi’s guarantee that all the promises in the BJP manifesto, including the Gogo Didi scheme (to provide financial assistance of Rs 2,100 every month to women), will be fulfilled.’

He said, ‘The next five years are very important for the coming 25 years of Jharkhand. Your one vote will contribute to the development of the state. Voting for the assembly elections in Jharkhand will be held on 13th and 20th November while the counting of votes will be done on 23rd November.
