A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at a camp in Shivpura area of the city. Officials gave this information on Sunday.
He said that constable Nirmal Pal Singh shot himself with his service rifle in the camp of 61 battalion of CRPF. According to officials, Singh died on the spot. It is not yet known why the jawan took this step.
