Leaders of political parties are appealing to the people of Delhi to participate in the festival of democracy in a big way through social media. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also appealed to the people of Delhi to vote in a tweet a while back.

Amit Shah tweeted, ‘By giving Delhi clean air, clean drinking water and every poor person their own home, only the best capital of the world can make it a government with far-sighted thinking and strong intentions. I appeal to the people of Delhi to vote to free Delhi from lies and votebank politics. PM Narendra Modi also tweeted and told the people of Delhi, ‘Today is the voting day for the Delhi Assembly elections. My appeal to all voters is that they should participate in this festival of democracy in maximum number and create a new record of voting. There is an appeal to the people of Delhi, especially my young friends, to vote for the record breaking.

BJP National President JP Nadda tweeted, appealing to all the voters of Delhi to participate in the mahaparv of democracy by voting in maximum number. Your one vote is important for the unity, integrity and overall development of Delhi. Your vote will write the golden future of your Delhi. Voting first, then refreshments. Jai Hind.’ Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also appealed to the people of Delhi to cast their vote and tweeted, ‘Go vote. Special appeal to all women- Just as you bear the responsibility of home, the responsibility of the country and Delhi is also on your shoulders. All of you women must go to vote and take the men of your house too. Do discuss with men that it is right to vote.
