Delhi Metro: Services on ‘Blue Line’ affected due to cable theft

Delhi Metro’s ‘Blue Line’ services were affected on Thursday due to theft of ‘cable’ between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar stations, causing huge inconvenience to the passengers.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said there will be slow train movement during the day on the affected section and there will be some delay in services. Metro’s ‘Blue Line’ connects Dwarka to Vaishali and Noida City Centre.,

“Services on Blue Line have been delayed due to theft of cable between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar,” DMRC said on social media platform ‘X’. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It said, “The problem arising out of cable theft on the Blue Line between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar will be resolved only after the end of night operating hours and trains will run at limited speed on the affected section during the day, thereby reducing the disruption in services.” There will be some delay.” He advised passengers to plan their journey accordingly.
