Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, during his stay in Ajmer, reached the residence of Union Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Chaudhary in Kishangarh on Friday and held a courtesy meeting and discussion. During this meeting, there was an in-depth discussion between the two on the issue of natural farming not being a big promise in the country and attracting farmers towards it. On this occasion, Governor Acharya Devvrat, a strong supporter of natural farming, informed Union Minister Bhagirath Chaudhary about the benefits of natural farming method. He said that natural farming is not only environment friendly, but it is also proving helpful in improving the quality of soil and improving the economic condition of farmers.

The Union Minister of State for Agriculture appreciated the efforts being made by the Governor in this direction and agreed that all possible steps should be taken to promote natural farming. The Central Government is also continuously trying and working towards promoting natural farming. Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Choudhary said that the Modi government is helping farmers by creating an environment for natural farming in the country and attracting them in the direction through Zero Budget Natural Farming and Traditional Agricultural Development Scheme. He said that natural farming at zero cost is emerging as a big option for freeing the earth from chemicals and providing pure food grains to the citizens of the country.
