Donate lamp online on Deepotsav, Prasad will reach home
Ayodhya. On the occasion of Deepotsav-2024, a Diya program is being launched by the Development Authority in the name of Lord Shri Ram. For many years, on the occasion of Chhoti Diwali, a grand festival of lights is organized on the banks of Saryu in Ayodhya in which from time to time, Prime Minister and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries participate as special guests. This year also Deepotsav is being organized on 30th October. Lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad aspire to participate in this festival. There are many devotees who cannot come to this great festival, but want to extend their support in this great festival of lamps by donating lamps through online medium.
Keeping in mind such devotion of the devotees, this year also ‘Ek Diya in the name of Ram’ program is to be organized on the occasion of Deepotsav Mahaparva. At the same time, on Thursday, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University Administration, under the direction of the Vice Chancellor, formed 22 committees for the grand celebration of Deepotsav. Besides, the work of marking on the ghats including Ram Ki Paidi is also being progressed rapidly.

Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission will manufacture Prasad
Vice President of Ayodhya Development Authority, Ashwani Kumar Pandey said that through this program, devotees sitting in the country and abroad will be able to donate any amount as per their wish through online medium.
Devotees from India and abroad can be a part of this great festival of lights to be held in Ayodhya, in return of which they will also be sent Prasad. 22 committees determined for Deepotsav
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University Administration has constituted 22 committees under the direction of the Vice Chancellor for organizing the grand celebration of Deepotsav. Among these, Vice Chancellor Prof. Pratibha Goyal is the chairman of the coordination committee and Deepotsav nodal officer Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra, 20 members including officials are included.
Apart from this, Discipline Committee, Security Committee, Material Distribution Committee, Lamp Counting Committee, Food Committee, Traffic Committee, Sanitation Committee, Photography and Media Committee, Quick Action Force Committee, First Aid Committee, Decoration/Rangoli Committee, Supervisor Committee, Fire Fighting Committee, Overall control and supervision committee, office committee, tender and purchase committee, volunteer and I-card committee, institutional coordination committee, training committee, material procurement/storage/residue committee and ghat marking committee have been formed. Convenors, co-convenors and members of all the committees have intensified the work on war footing to make the Deepotsav supernatural.
80 percent marking work completed on Ram Ki Pauri
On the other hand, Deepotsav Nodal Officer Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra said that on the second day on Thursday, under the supervision of Dr. Ranjan Singh, coordinator of the ghat marking committee, the marking work was started rapidly on the ghats on both sides of Ram Ki Paidi. In this, 80 percent marking work was completed. Marking work is being done at a rapid pace on a total of 55 ghats of Saryu.
Under the supervision of ghat coordinator ghat in-charge, 28 lakh lamps will be installed at these identified places to light 25 lakh lamps.
