Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Akola, Maharashtra on Saturday. The PM said that Maharashtra stands firmly with the National Democratic Alliance. At the beginning of his address, Modi said that the blessings of Vidarbha have always been special for me. Now once again I have come to seek your blessings for the grand alliance in the assembly elections. He said that today is 9th November and this date of 9th November is very historical. On this day in 2019, the Supreme Court of the country had given its verdict on Ram Temple. This date of November 9 will also be remembered because after the decision of the Supreme Court, people of every religion showed great sensitivity.

Modi said that in the 10 years from 2014 to 2024, Maharashtra has continuously blessed the BJP wholeheartedly. There is a reason for Maharashtra’s trust in BJP. The reason for this is the patriotism, political understanding and foresight of the people of Maharashtra. He said that our government has been in power at the Center for only 5 months. Projects worth lakhs of crores of rupees have been started in these 5 months. It also has a large number of infrastructure projects related to Maharashtra. He said that in the last two terms, Modi has built 4 crore pucca houses for the poor. Not only this, the target that was set at that time was also missed.
The BJP leader said that now we are starting to build 3 crore new houses for the poor. He said that at the time of elections I had promised to guarantee free treatment to the elderly above 70 years of age. Our government has launched this scheme to serve the elderly. Elderly people above 70 years of age have started getting Vaya-Vandana Ayushman cards. Along with the spirit of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas, the benefit of this scheme will be available to the elders of every class, every society and every religion.
The PM said that the demand of the people of Maharashtra which the Congress and Aghadi did not allow to be fulfilled for decades, has also been fulfilled by Modi. We have the privilege of giving Marathi the status of an elite language. Marathi has got that honor, which is the pride of entire Maharashtra. He said that a glimpse of what the next 5 years of Mahayuti government will be like is also visible in the promise of Mahayuti. Safety of women and opportunities for women, expansion of Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, lakhs of jobs for youth, huge development works. The Mahayuti government will take forward the development of Maharashtra at double speed.
He said that amidst the manifesto of Mahayuti, the scam letter of Maha Aghadi people has also come. Now the whole country knows – Maha Aghadi means corruption! Maha Aghadi means scams worth thousands of crores! Maha Aghadi means extortion of money! Maha Aghadi means token money! Maha Aghadi means the business of transfer-posting. He said that where Congress government is formed, that state becomes the ATM of the royal family of Congress. These days, states like Himachal, Telangana and Karnataka have become the ATMs of the royal family of Congress. People are saying that these days the collection in Karnataka has doubled in the name of elections in Maharashtra, elections are in Maharashtra and the collection has doubled in Karnataka and Telangana. It is alleged that these people have recovered Rs 700 crore from liquor shopkeepers in Karnataka.
Modi said that our Akola is known for the production of cotton. Cotton is a major base of textile industry. But our cotton farmers did not get the benefit of these possibilities for decades, this situation is now changing. Both industry and infrastructure are being promoted to increase the income of cotton farmers. He said that our resolution is that the farmers themselves should be so strong that they emerge as the heroes of the country’s progress. Therefore, we are increasing the farmer’s income and reducing the expenses. We started PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Mahayuti government supported it. The result is that farmers of Maharashtra are getting Rs 12 thousand annually.

He said that the Congress party knows that the weaker the country is, the stronger the Congress will be. That is why it is the nature of Congress to fight between different castes. Since independence, Congress never allowed our Dalit community to unite, it also kept our ST community divided into different castes. Congress gets irritated on hearing the name OBC. To ensure that OBC community does not get a separate identity, Congress has played various games.
