Farmer Protest: BJP leader Surendra Nehra, son of former Irrigation Minister Jagdish Nehra, has resigned from the membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party in support of the farmers movement in Haryana. Surendra Nehra said that he is resigning from BJP membership in support of farmers. Now they will also be a part of their movement in support of the farmers.
Surendra Nehra said that he is a farmer first, then a politician. He appealed to the government to accept the demands of the farmers. Nehra said that he had lost five years while staying in the BJP. Nehra also targeted the electricity minister Ranjit Singh. Without naming, Nehra said that those who won elections in the name of farmers, now they are not coming in support of the farmers.
