According to sources, Hasina and some of her close people reached Hindon airbase in a Bangladesh Air Force plane late on the night of August 5. He resigned after weeks of anti-government protests. However, he left the airbase within two days. On the day of his arrival, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and senior military officials met him at the airbase. Intelligence officials aware of the developments said that the 77-year-old leader is now living in a secure bungalow near India Gate and Khan Market in Central Delhi.
