Bhopal. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. During Murugan’s stay in Bhopal, former Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi paid a courtesy call on him and presented him a copy of his recently published book ‘India in Amritkaal’. The book describes the social, economic and cultural development of the country during the tenure of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Dr. Murugan said that such positive literature will help in realizing the dream of a developed India. He said that this book is an intellectual assessment of the Modi government. The topics raised in it show the confidence of the new India. Shri Murugan appreciated the efforts being made by Prof. Dwivedi through ‘Media Vimarsh’ to highlight the contribution of journalism in Indian languages. It is noteworthy that ‘Media Vimarsh’ has published special issues focusing on research on journalism in seven Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Gujarati, Urdu.
