High level meeting held at PM residence regarding Farmer Protest, Shah and Rajnath remain present

New Delhi: In view of the farmers ‘movement, today (on Saturday) from 2 pm, before the start of the farmers’ meeting at Vigyan Bhavan, a high-level meeting was held at the Prime Minister residence. In which there was a brainstorm among the leaders to find a solution to the peasant movement. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar were present in the meeting.

Prior to the meeting, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that a meeting with farmers is scheduled at 2 pm today. I very much hope that the farmers will think positively and end their agitation.

At the same time, Rampal Jat, the leader of Kisan Mahapanchayat, said that the government should declare the withdrawal of the three black laws and give it in writing that the MSP will continue. If today meeting do not yield any positive results, the farmers of Rajasthan will march towards Delhi along NH-8 and encamp at Jantar Mantar.

Due to the farmer movement, 5 borders of Delhi have been kept closed. In order to stop the farmers outside Delhi, the police have closed many borders and routes of NCR including Delhi. In such a situation, the Delhi Police is constantly issuing traffic alerts so that the passengers do not get disturbed.
