Adar Poonawalla has said that the Corona vaccine of Oxford will be given to the government for 200 rupees, while the public will get this vaccine for 1000 rupees. It is noteworthy that the vaccine Covishield of Oxford-Astrazeneca is being constructed at the Serum Institute in Pune and on Sunday, the Drug Controller General of India has given permission to Covishield for emergency use.

Dry run on Saturday
Vaccination program will be started soon in the country. The government has also made preparations for this. On Saturday (January 2), a dry run of vaccine was carried out in all the states and union territories of the country. Apart from the Indian government, the European Union has also come forward to help vaccine manufacturers. The European Union has helped to increase vaccine manufacturing and ease delivery.

Company gave information
According to Serum Institute, the country’s largest vaccine manufacturer, the company is making 50-60 million doses of Oxford-Astrazeneca vaccine every month. Giving information, the company said that this vaccine is cheaper than Pfizer-BioNtech and its transportation is also easy. India has set a target for vaccine, according to which more than 130 crore people will be vaccinated by the middle of 2021.

Giving information, CEO Adar Poonawalla said that 40-50 million doses of the vaccine are ready to be applied. He said that we are waiting for the contractor to sign with the government, the vaccine will be available in only 7-10 days. He said that the government has not yet given us permission to export the vaccine. We will ask the government to give permission in the next few weeks, so that we can carry out the vaccine to 68 countries with bilateral relations.
