I am the ocean, I will come back, old video of Fadnavis goes viral amid Maharashtra results

ANI

An old video of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has come into discussion. In this video, Fadnavis is reading a couplet, “Don’t build a house on my shore after seeing my water receding, I am the ocean and will come back again!”

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is moving towards a huge majority in Maharashtra. The BJP is poised to cross 100 seats and consolidate its position as the largest party in the state, coming out strongly from the Lok Sabha election debacle. The ruling Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra includes the BJP, Ajit Pawar’s NCP faction and Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. Crossing the figure, it is leading on 221 seats. The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is leading on 55 seats in the 288-member assembly, where the majority figure is 145.

In such a situation, an old video of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has come into discussion. In this video, Fadnavis is reading a couplet, “Don’t build a house on my shore after seeing my water receding, I am the ocean and will come back again!” It is being told that when Mahavikas Aghadi government was formed in Maharashtra, Fadnavis had read this couplet in the assembly. It is noteworthy that in the last five decades in Maharashtra politics, no Chief Minister except BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has been able to complete his five-year tenure. With Uddhav Thackeray completing his two and a half year tenure, clouds of political crisis have started looming in the state.

After holding the post of CM for five years, a person then works as Deputy Chief Minister despite getting the mandate. This also shows the discipline of the party. BJP definitely said that the entire election is being fought under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. But Devendra Fadnavis remained the architect of the entire campaign.
