India expels 6 Canadian diplomats, ordered to leave the country by this date

Tension increased between India and Canada.

The tension between India and Canada has once again increased significantly. The Indian government had strongly lashed out at the Canadian government on Monday evening and had decided to recall its diplomats. At the same time, now India has taken another strict step against Canada. The Indian government has expelled 6 Canadian diplomats from the country.

India’s Foreign Ministry has informed that 6 Canadian diplomats living in India have been expelled. The Ministry of External Affairs has further informed that all the six expelled Canadian diplomats have been asked to leave India on or before 11:59 pm on October 19.

The Indian government has decided to expel these 6 Canadian diplomats:

1. Stewart Ross Wheeler, Acting High Commissioner

2. Patrick Hebert, Deputy High Commissioner

3. Mary Catherine Jolley, First Secretary

4. Lan Ross David Trites, First Secretary

5. Adam James Chuipka, First Secretary

6. Paula Orjuela, First Secretary
