Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said on Saturday that India is today establishing itself as a “world friend”. In his address at a book launch here, Jaishankar also said, “We want to make friends with as many people as possible.”
He said that this obviously creates goodwill and positivity towards India. He said this is reflected in the country’s growing contribution to global well-being and its close engagement with the international community. He said that in the final analysis Friends are “always a work in progress”.
