Indigo Flights Receive Bomb Threat | Bomb threat in two Indigo flights from Mumbai to Muscat and Jeddah, search continues
Indigo Airlines receives bomb threat in Mumbai: Bomb threats were received on three different flights departing from Mumbai on Monday, following which security agencies immediately responded and took precautionary measures. Shortly after taking off from Mumbai, an Air India flight was diverted to New Delhi. Only a few hours passed after this when two more Indigo flights received bomb threats. Indigo Airline spokesperson has given this information to news agency ANI. Flight 6E 56 was flying from Mumbai to Jeddah, the other – 6E 1275 – was flying to Muscat. Apart from this, a bomb threat was received in Mumbai-Howrah Mail, Train No. 12809 on Monday morning. The threat was received around 4:00 am, following which the train was stopped emergency at Jalgaon station for investigation.

Bomb threat on Mumbai-Muscat, Mumbai-Jeddah Indigo flights
On Monday, a bomb threat was received in Indigo flight 6E 1275 from Mumbai to Muscat. An IndiGo spokesperson said that as per standard protocol, the Mumbai-Muscat IndiGo flight was moved to a separate bay and mandatory security checks were immediately initiated following the standard operating procedure. Later another IndiGo flight, 6E 56 Mumbai-Jeddah aircraft received a bomb threat. This was also moved to a separate bay.

Bomb threat on Air India Mumbai-New York flight
Earlier in the day, a Mumbai-New York Air India flight carrying 239 passengers was diverted to New Delhi and made an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport following security concerns over a bomb threat. Air India flight AI119 took off from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to New York’s John F. The flight took off around 2 a.m. bound for Kennedy International Airport, but was soon diverted to Delhi International Airport, where it was evacuated and taken to an isolation bay.
Mumbai-Howrah Mail receives threat to blow up train
Not only the plane, but a train – Mumbai-Howrah Mail (Train No. 12809, superfast train from Mumbai’s CMST to Kolkata’s HWH) received a threat to blow up the train with a timer bomb. According to ANI, around 4:00 am on Monday, off-control received a message that there was a timer bomb in the train, following which it was stopped at Jalgaon station and thoroughly checked.
