Lawrence Bishnoi threatened through video call
A video call of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is going viral, in which he is demanding a ransom of Rs 5 crore from illegal call center mafia Kunal Chhabra and threatens him with dire consequences in case the money is not paid. Kunal Chhabra is claiming to be in Dubai at the time of the threat. At first, Chhabra does not believe that the call has come from Lawrence Bishnoi, but later when he makes a video call, he believes it.
“Everyone is watching you all the time”
In the video call, Lawrence Bishnoi tells Kunal Chhabra, ‘You have recognized me, it is me.’ Lawrence later made a voice call and threatened Kunal to pay the extortion money of Rs 5 crore soon. When Kunal asked for a few days’ time, Lawrence Bishnoi refused and threatened that he is watching you every moment, he even knows how many times you go to the toilet.
Delhi Police is investigating the video call
At the same time, now the Delhi Police is investigating the mobile phone clip of the video call made by Lawrence Bishnoi demanding extortion. According to police sources, this video call was made in May last year, when Kunal Chhabra was on a trip to Dubai with his family. Chhabra had lodged a complaint against Bishnoi with the Special Cell of Delhi Police. In the 3-minute video, Bishnoi is heard asking Chhabra, “Do you want to see a miracle?” In response, Chhabra says, “I do not want to see any miracle.” The police said that the authenticity of the video is being investigated.
Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar kept getting calls
In the FIR lodged in the case, Chhabra said that he received a call from a man who introduced himself as Lawrence Bishnoi. When he asked the caller if he was really Bishnoi, the gangster disconnected the call and made a video call to the complainant. The FIR states that Bishnoi threatened him and demanded Rs 5 crore from him as extortion. Chhabra returned to India on May 30 and kept receiving calls from Bishnoi and his gang member Goldy Brar, who is said to be in the US.
