Bengaluru: The Chief Minister of Karnataka is continuously under attack over the alleged scam in Mooda. ED has filed a new complaint against the Chief Minister of the state Siddaramaiah, who is involved in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case. The ED has filed another complaint against the Chief Minister and his son Yatindra, accusing them of trying to destroy evidence in the Mooda case.
These allegations have been made in the new complaint
A person named Pradeep Kumar has filed a new complaint against Siddaramaiah. In this, he has been accused of destroying evidence related to 14 sites. CM’s son Yatindra Siddaramaiah has also been accused in the complaint. The complaint claims that evidence has been destroyed by reclaiming the sites with the involvement of MUDA officials. Pradeep Kumar has requested for investigation and sought registration of a case for tampering with evidence.
Complainant Snehamoyi Krishna appeared before ED
Meanwhile, social activist Snehamoyi Krishna, one of the complainants in the alleged scam related to Mooda’s plot allotment, today appeared before the ED to give evidence and provide records in connection with the investigation. The ED had filed an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) against the Chief Minister on September 30. In this, Mooda’s wife Parvati BM is accused of alleged irregularities in the allotment of 14 sites.
Lokayukta police had filed FIR against CM
Sources said that after taking cognizance of the FIR registered against the Chief Minister by the Lokayukta police on September 27, the ED has asked the Mysuru-based Right to Information (RTI) activist to personally appear before the investigating officer at the ED’s Bengaluru regional office and Was called to give evidence and provide records in connection with the investigation under money laundering. Based on Krishna’s complaint, the Lokayukta police had registered a case against Siddaramaiah, his wife and two others. He had also lodged a complaint in ED.
