Barack Obama has visited India twice before. Obama visited India from 6 to 9 November in 2010 when he was President. At the same time, for the second time, Obama had visited India from 24 to 27 January in the year 2015 while being the President. He came to India as the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations. Congress session was held in Belagavi, Karnataka in the year 1924. In this conference, Mahatma Gandhi was elected President of Congress.
