Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a “major” contract from Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) for the design and construction of Agra Metro.
This contract has been awarded to the heavy civil infrastructure segment of L&T, the company said in a filing to BSE on Wednesday. L&T describes contracts worth between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore as “mega contracts”.
According to company information, it has received the contract from Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) for the design and construction of Agra Metro First Phase Line-2.
