There is a possibility of 45 crore pilgrims, sadhus, saints, Kalpavasis and tourists coming to Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025. In view of this, the Uttar Pradesh government has made appropriate arrangements in a timely manner.

To make the fair environment friendly, a resolution has been taken to make Mahakumbh free from single use plastic. Under this campaign, allotment of shops of various Dona-Pattal vendors in the fair area, meeting on cleanliness with 400-school principals, Swachh Maha Kumbh initiative is being taken to 4 lakh children and citizens 5 times the population of Prayagraj. Also, under the Har Ghar Dastak campaign, the message of being free from single use plastic is being given to every home.
