Assembly elections have started in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Voting has started in both the states. In Maharashtra, the fate of veteran leaders like Sharad Pawar, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, his predecessor Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis is at stake.
Elections are also being held in the second phase in Jharkhand. There is a direct contest between India Bloc and NDA in Jharkhand. Let us tell you that out of 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand, voters are casting their votes on 38 seats. The results are to be announced on November 23.

Many leaders in Maharashtra reached the polling booth in the morning and cast their votes. Those who cast their votes include NCP SP Chief Sharad Pawar, Nawab Malik, Yogendra Pawar, Amit Thackeray.
RBI Governor cast his vote
Many VVIPs have arrived in Mumbai early in the morning to cast their votes. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das along with his wife arrived at a booth in Mumbai to cast their vote. There are strict security arrangements here.
