Sanjay Raut said that Congress has announced its candidate Dilip Mane from Solapur South constituency in its new list. This has happened when we have already fielded our candidate Amar Patil from the same seat.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has warned Congress against fielding candidates for Solapur South Assembly seat. Shiv Sena (UBT) has already announced the candidate. Speaking to reporters, Raut said such actions could provoke a similar reaction from his side and create problems for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Sanjay Raut said that three big parties are contesting the elections and till the end there will be discussion on two or three seats, whether it is Maha Vikas Aghadi or Mahayuti.

Sanjay Raut said that Congress has announced its candidate Dilip Mane from Solapur South constituency in its new list. This has happened when we have already fielded our candidate Amar Patil from the same seat. I consider it a typing mistake of Congress. Such a mistake can also happen from our side. He further said that I have heard that local Congress leaders are keen to contest from Miraj assembly constituency, which is part of our seat-sharing formula. If this infection (of fielding candidates against allies) spreads across the state, it will create problems for the MVA.

Congress, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and NCP (SP) are part of the opposition MVA that is challenging the ruling grand alliance. Asked about Congress’s desire to contest more seats in Mumbai, Raut said, “The party is seeking one more seat in Mumbai. Traditionally, Shiv Sena has been contesting more seats in Mumbai. The party’s Mumbai It is needed in the same way as Congress is needed in Vidarbha region.”
