Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has hit back at Sanjay Raut. She said that I would like to advise them that your boat has sunk, Mahayuti government is going to be formed.

A day after the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has made a big claim. Sanjay Raut said the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra will win 160 to 165 seats out of the total 288 and provide a stable government in the state. He said that exit polls in this country are a fraud. We saw the exit poll figures ‘crossing 400’ during the Lok Sabha elections, we saw Congress crossing 60 in the Haryana elections. Now they are giving the data of Maharashtra. Don’t trust exit polls. We are winning 160 seats and Maha Vikas Aghadi is forming the government.

Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has hit back at Sanjay Raut. She said that I would like to advise them that your boat has sunk, Mahayuti government is going to be formed. He said that 100 per cent grand alliance government is going to be formed. Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar have a track record of two and a half years each. He said that I believe that people will vote for progress. This is the politics of performance that works with the young generation, not the politics of destruction.

The MVA includes former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and Sharad Pawar’s NCP (SP). The ruling grand alliance includes BJP, CM Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s NCP. While the Mahayuti alliance is making a determined effort to retain power, the opposition MVA alliance is hoping to continue its good performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in the state. According to provisional data, an estimated 65 per cent voting was recorded in the Maharashtra Assembly elections on Wednesday, compared to 61.74 per cent in the 2019 state elections.
