Sakri assembly constituency is one of the 288 assembly constituencies in the state of Maharashtra. This constituency is located in Dhule district which is reserved for Scheduled Tribe category candidates. It is part of the Nandurbar Lok Sabha constituency along with five other assembly constituencies, Shirpur in Dhule district and Akkalkuwa, Navapur, Nandurbar and Shahada in Nandurbar district. This seat has mostly been held by Congress. However, at present also independent Manjula Gavit is the MLA from this seat. BJP has also won this seat in three consecutive assembly elections.
