Supreme Court grants bail to Abbas Ansari

Abbas Ansari, MLA son of Purvanchal’s mafia don Mukhtar Ansari, has got bail from the Supreme Court in a money laundering case. The Supreme Court has also granted bail to Abbas Ansari in the case of keeping illegal mobile in Chitrakoot jail. Abbas Ansari has got bail from the Supreme Court in two cases. The court said that Abbas Ansari should cooperate in the investigation.

Abbas Ansari will remain in jail for now

The Supreme Court has asked to file a petition in the High Court for bail in the gangster case. Due to not getting bail in the gangster case, Abbas Ansari will remain in jail for now. Abbas’s lawyer Kapil Sibal has demanded transferred bail in the gangster case.

Allahabad High Court should complete the hearing in four weeks – SC

The Supreme Court has rejected the demand for interim bail in the gangster case. The Supreme Court directed the Allahabad High Court to try to complete the hearing on the bail plea in the gangster case within four weeks. Abbas’s lawyer Kapil Sibal said that he has been in jail for more than one and a half years.
