American scientists have issued a warning, saying that a major solar storm is going to hit the Earth soon and it may affect the electronic communication system. Indian scientists are monitoring it and experts from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said that they have informed Indian satellite operators to take all precautions. The next few days are crucial for the Earth as the storm is moving towards the Earth. “The (solar) flare that erupted a few days ago is similar in terms of strength to the flare that occurred in May,” Dr. Subramanian said.
The scientist said that “We will also monitor the magnetosphere in view of the possibility of solar storm. But we will want to wait because it takes a few days to hit the Earth.
