All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal’s claim regarding Parliament and airport could not last even 24 hours. In this case, if the sources of Delhi Waqf Board are to be believed, they do not have any such document which can prove that the Parliament and the airport are built on Waqf land.
Congress raised questions on Badruddin’s claim
At the same time, Congress has also raised questions regarding this statement of Badruddin Ajmal. Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi said that if he has any evidence regarding his claim then he should present it before the JPC.
Parliament and airport built on Waqb Board property
Earlier on Wednesday, Badruddin Ajmal had courted controversy by alleging that the Parliament House and surrounding areas in Delhi, including Vasant Vihar and even the airport, were being destroyed. All these have been built on the property of Waqf Board. Delhi Waqf Board has rejected the claim of Badruddin Ajmal.
Waqf Board said- there is no document for this
The Waqf Board definitely says that it has been heard about the airport that there was a tomb around the airport, on the basis of which the claim is made on the airport, but there is no document that the airport is built on Waqf land.
Government wants to grab 9.7 lakh bighas of land- Badruddin
Let us inform that in a meeting organized by Jamiat Ulama in Assam, AIUDF leader Maulana Badruddin Ajmal strongly criticized the attitude of the government in the matter of Waqf properties. Badruddin Ajmal, while speaking against the Waqf Bill, said that the new Parliament itself is on Waqf land. He claimed that the government wants to grab 9.7 lakh bighas of land of Waqf Board.
This land should be handed over to Muslims
Badruddin has demanded to hand over the Waqf land to the Muslim community. He said that the government should hand over all the Waqf land to Muslims. If the government gives us land, we will ourselves make arrangements for education, health and orphanage for the Muslim community. For this we do not need any favor from the central government.
Evidence not presented yet
At the same time, now All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin may claim but till now no such evidence has been presented by him, which can prove that the new Parliament and the airport are built on Waqf land.
