Bihar: There is good news for parents and children sitting in Bihar. Next year, preparations have started to open all the private schools including class 1 to 8 in the state on the direction of the central government. For this, there will be an important meeting of the Disaster Management Group at the Chief Secretary level, in which the decision to open schools will be taken keeping in mind all the arrangements for prevention of infection of Covid-19. In this regard, a higher education officer of the Education Department said on Wednesday that after opening the schools, a decision will be taken to promote the children of elementary schools to the next class without exam.

About one crore children depend on online education

In this regard, the education department official said that the government had given conditional permission to open schools from September 9 to 12 from September 28, but asked to keep the classes below it closed. Due to which about 16.6 million children of private and government schools have become dependent on online education due to being away from schools.

Terms to open school also fixed

A proposal has been sent to the Chief Secretary in the Department of Education that, keeping in mind the strict safety standards of Covid-19, this month schools should be allowed to conduct classes from first to eighth with condition, first government school And in private schools, more attention should be paid to calling and protecting children in rotation. Also, students, teachers and employees of any Containment Zone should neither be called nor come to the school. Schools will have to strictly follow the Corona Guidelines for conducting classes.

Many important changes will be done in schools

The Education Department has ordered that schools determine the schedule of students and teachers at their level. Ensuring compliance with government guidelines in schools and monitoring them will be up to the concerned District Magistrate and District Education Officer. They have to follow the rules of masks, sanitizers and social distancing. Many important decisions will be taken regarding the schools in the disaster management group meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary. Next year, children will be given books in exchange of funds for studying.
