Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday said that four percent reservation for Muslims is being demanded in government tenders but no decision has been taken on it yet.

Have sought consideration.
Siddaramaiah told reporters here, “There has been a demand for four percent reservation but we have not taken any decision yet.” Asked about the issue being raised by the BJP, he said, “BJP does everything. Wants to make it communal. Their job is to create a rift between Hindus and Muslims. Has he ever wished for peace in the society?
BJP state president BY Vijayendra termed this alleged move as harmful. “To woo the Muslim community, the Congress government in Karnataka is going to introduce reservation in tenders also, which will damage the fabric of a harmonious society,” he said in a post on ‘X’.
