Not CM, worked as a common man, Shinde said - No problem from my side, every decision of Modi-Shah is accepted
Amidst the suspense regarding the post of CM in Maharashtra, acting Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde addressed a press conference in Thane today. During this, he thanked the people of Maharashtra for such a big mandate. He said that people have given their support to Mahayuti for its development work. He said that we restarted the work which Maha Vikas Aghadi had stopped and that is why we got the support of the public. He said that our workers also worked extremely hard. He said that I did not work as a Chief Minister, but as a common man. We worked after understanding the problems common people faced.

Shinde clearly said that I never considered myself CM. We worked as common people. This is why we worked on many big schemes. We came up with the Ladki Behan scheme. We worked to give something to every member of the family on behalf of the government. He said that we had the full support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Both of them asked us to work for the public and we did. He gave us the responsibility of Chief Minister and I worked for the public every moment. We increased the level of progress of the state with the help of the Centre.
Shinde said that I am a boy brother of girl sisters. He remembered us during elections. He clearly said that we are people who work together. We do not discuss who went where, what happened. We worked to make Maharashtra number one. The Prime Minister stood with us like a rock. My two and a half years have been historic for me. He claimed that whatever work I will do, I will do it for the people of Maharashtra. He repeatedly stressed that we worked hard and hence got a great victory.

He said that the help of the Center is necessary to take the state forward and the Center has always supported us. From his part, he clearly said that no question is stuck anywhere. There is no obstacle in forming the government. He said that we called Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I said that we are all leaders of NDA and whatever decision Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah take, we will accept it. He clearly said that there is no obstacle from my side in forming the government. We are going to work together. Whatever decision both of them take regarding the Chief Minister, we will accept it. No hassles, no resentment.
