One employee injured in firing at petrol pump in Gokulpuri, Delhi

A petrol pump employee was injured in a firing incident in North East Delhi’s Gokulpuri area. Police gave this information on Saturday. Police said that on Friday night, one of the four people who came riding on two motorcycles opened fire towards the petrol pump office.

The attacker’s picture was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump. A senior police officer said Anshul Rathi, who worked as a ‘supervisor’ at Petrop Pump, was injured by shrapnel in the stomach.

He said that he was taken to GTB (Guru Teg Bahadur) Hospital, where his condition is out of danger. The police officer said, “Initial investigation revealed that four people riding on two motorcycles came to Petrop Pump and one of them fired 16 bullets at the office cabin from outside and then people riding on one motorcycle at Gokulpuri and people riding on the other Loni ran away towards the roundabout.” He said that it is suspected that this incident happened due to old enmity of petrol pump owner Harish Chaudhary with some people. The case is being investigated.
