Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan posted a post in this regard on the social media platform ‘X’. He wrote in the post, “I am deeply saddened on a personal level by the malicious attempts made to spread impurity in the Prasad of Sri Tirupati Balaji Dham, the center of our culture, faith, belief and devotion, and to be honest, I feel very cheated from within. I pray to Lord Venkateswara to give strength to us and all the Sanatanis with his causeless grace in this moment of grief. Right now, I am taking a vow to seek forgiveness from God for Atonement Deeksha and am taking a religious vow for an eleven-day fast. In the latter part of the eleven-day Atonement Deeksha, on October 1 and 2, I will go to Tirupati to have a personal darshan of the Lord and pray for forgiveness and then my Atonement Deeksha will be completed in front of God.”

CM alleges adulteration in Prasad

He prayed to the deity to grant him the strength to perform ritual purification to atone for the alleged sins committed by the previous YSR Congress Party government. Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan wondered how the employees and board members of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) could remain unaware of these alleged irregularities. The TTD is officially responsible for the maintenance of Sri Venkateswara Temple located in Tirupati. It may be noted that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had claimed in the recent meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Legislature Party that the previous YSR Congress government did not even spare the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple and used substandard material and animal fat in making the iconic Tirupati Laddus.
