More than 28 crore people took part in ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ programs
In the program, Prime Minister Modi said that in the last fortnight, crores of people across the country have participated in ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ programs. I have been informed that more than 27 lakh programs were organized across the country in the 15 days of ‘Seva Pakhwada’. In which more than 28 crore people participated. Only by continuous efforts can we make our India clean. I express my gratitude to every Indian.

Addressing the program, PM Modi said that today at this important milestone, projects worth about Rs 10 thousand crores related to cleanliness have also been started. Under Mission Amrit, water and sewage treatment plants will be built in many cities of the country. Be it the work related to Namami Gange or the Gobardhan plant that produces biogas from waste, this work will take the Swachh Bharat Mission to a new height. The more successful the Swachh Bharat Mission is, the brighter our country will shine. PM Modi praised all the people including sanitation workers, religious leaders, athletes, celebrities, NGOs who participated in the cleanliness mission.
