PM Modi's mission to Bihar, gave the gift of many schemes, said - Nitish Kumar ended Jungle Raj
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Bihar tour today. Laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development works worth Rs 12,100 in Darbhanga. Meanwhile, at the beginning of his address, Modi said that today voting for the first phase is taking place in the neighboring state of Jharkhand. People of Jharkhand are voting to fulfill the dream of ‘Developed Jharkhand’. I would urge all the voters of Jharkhand to participate in voting in maximum numbers. Along with this he said that I pay tribute to the nightingale Sharda Sinha ji, the daughter of the land of Mithila. The service that Sharda Sinha ji has done to Bhojpuri and Maithili music is incomparable. The way he spread the glory of Mahaparva Chhath to the whole world through his songs is amazing.

Narendra Modi said that our government has always stood for the development of the people of the country. We have laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works worth Rs 12,000 crore in a single event. He said that the construction of Darbhanga AIIMS will bring a huge change in the health sector of Bihar. This will provide convenience to the people of Mithila, Kosi and Tirhut regions, West Bengal and many surrounding areas. Patients coming from Nepal will also be able to get treatment in this AIIMS hospital. AIIMS will create many employment and self-employment opportunities here.
Modi said that about four crore people in the country have been treated under ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’. If there was no Ayushman Bharat scheme, most of these people would not have been admitted to the hospital. He said that I am happy that a big worry in his life was removed with the plan of the NDA government. Crores of families have saved about Rs 1.25 lakh crore through Ayushman Yojana. He said that our government is working with a holistic approach regarding health in the country. The first focus is on disease prevention. The second focus is on diagnosing the disease properly.
Along with this, Modi said that the third focus is that people should get free and cheap treatment, they should get cheap medicines. The fourth focus is to provide the best treatment facilities even in small towns and overcome the shortage of doctors in the country. The fifth focus is to expand technology in health services. Modi said that earlier people suffering from every disease used to go to AIIMS Delhi. However, our government established new AIIMS hospitals in many parts of the country. Today there are 24 AIIMS hospitals in the country. Our government decided that anyone can get medical education in their mother tongue and become a doctor. In a way, this work is the biggest tribute to Karpoori Thakur ji.
He said that in the next 5 years we will add 75,000 new medical seats. Another big decision taken by our government is that medical education will soon be provided in Hindi and other Indian languages. The cancer hospital to be established in Muzaffarnagar will benefit the patients as they will get better treatment in the state itself and will not have to go outside the state. Bihar will also get a big eye hospital. He said that we opened more than 1.5 lakh ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandir’ in the country for the people of economically weaker sections.
