Delhi Police said around 1,300 kg of medicines from South American countries were brought to a pharmaceutical company in Gujarat for purification before supplying them in the national capital. The accused arrested from Gujarat include Vijay Bhesniya, Ashwani Ramani and Brijesh Kothiya, who are co-owners of Avkar Drugs Limited company. Of the two, Mayur Desale was handling production at the company, while Amit played a key role in mediating between key suppliers and the drug company’s owners, officials said.
