Congress posted photos of meeting the victims of Sambhal violence on its X handle and targeted BJP. Congress said, ‘Today Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary and MP Smt. Priyanka Gandhi met the victims of Sambhal. The incident in Sambhal is a side effect of BJP’s hate politics and it is fatal for a peaceful society. Together we have to defeat this violent and hateful mentality with love and brotherhood. We stand with all the victims and will fight to get them justice.
CM Yogi had given strict instructions
Let us tell you that CM Yogi had taken a strict stance regarding the violence that took place during the survey of the mosque in Sambhal and had directed the officials that not even a single miscreant should be spared. The cost of repairing the public property that has been damaged should be recovered from those miscreants. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given the instructions in a high-level meeting with senior officials.
While reviewing the law and order situation, the Chief Minister had said that be it Gautam Buddha Nagar, Aligarh, Sambhal or any other district, no one can be given the freedom to spread anarchy. He had said that those spreading anarchy should be identified and their posters should be put up and not even a single miscreant should be spared. After the strictness of CM Yogi, the administration had intensified the action.
