Rahul Gandhi's mic suddenly stopped during the Constitution Day program, Congress leader said - On talking about Dalits...
Rahul Gandhi today said in the Congress’ Constitution Protecting Campaign that the entire system of the country is standing against Dalits, tribals and backward class people. He claimed that the path of Dalits, tribals, OBCs is blocked by a wall. Prime Minister Modi, RSS are strengthening that wall. He said that the UPA government weakened the wall coming in the way of backward classes but we could not weaken the wall as much as we should have done.

Rahul Gandhi said that I guarantee you that Prime Minister Modi has not read the Constitution, if he had read he would not have done the work that he does daily. He said that the Constitution is not just a book but the thinking of India for thousands of years, it is about truth and non-violence. He said that caste census is being conducted in Telangana, it is a historic step; We will do the same wherever we form the government.
Showing the copy of the Constitution, he asked whether Savarkar ji’s voice is there in it (the Constitution)? Is it written somewhere in it that violence should be used, people should be killed or the government should be run with the help of lies? This is a book of truth and non-violence. A few days ago we have started the caste census work in Telangana and it is not a bureaucratic process. For the first time in Telangana, caste census has been made a public exercise. He said that the questions being asked are not being asked by 10-15 people in a closed room, these are lakhs of people including Dalits, tribals, backward class people, poor, general caste people, minority people, everyone else. People of Telangana are included. Prepared the outline of the census. Wherever our government comes in future, we will conduct caste census there.
