At least 12 people were killed and more than 40 others were injured when a bus collided with a culvert in Rajasthan’s Sikar district on Tuesday. The bus was coming from Salasar and collided with a culvert after reaching Laxmangarh in Sikar district. The condition of many passengers is critical. The injured have been brought to the nearest hospital in Laxmangarh.
SK Hospital Superintendent Mahendra Khichad said that there have been seven deaths in Laxmangarh. A total of 37 patients reached SK Hospital, out of which two died and three died during treatment. Seven patients have been referred to Jaipur for further treatment, while around 22 to 23 others are undergoing treatment. He said that so far the deaths of 12 people have been confirmed.
