Supporters of independent candidate Naresh Meena vandalized and set fire to two vehicles in Deoli Uniara assembly constituency of Tonk district of Rajasthan on Wednesday night. Sources gave this information.

Sources said the incident occurred when the police force tried to remove Meena and his supporters from the protest site. According to sources, Meena supporters also allegedly pelted stones at the police.

Sources said police fired tear gas shells to control the situation. Earlier in the day, Meena had slapped a Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer on election duty and later sat on a dharna outside a polling booth in Samravata village.
