Rajasthan Weather Update: Most areas of Rajasthan are in the grip of severe cold and the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and hailstorm at many places in the state from Thursday.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, the weather in the state remained generally dry in the last 24 hours. During this period, dense to very dense fog was observed at some places and ‘cold day’ was recorded in western Rajasthan.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 3.8 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur and 4.3 degrees Celsius in Sangriya. Apart from this, the minimum temperature was 5.0 degrees Celsius in Churu, 6.5 degrees Celsius in Ganganagar and 5.7 degrees Celsius in Pilani.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, due to a new western disturbance becoming active from December 26, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some parts of Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Bikaner divisions. Its maximum impact is likely to be on December 27 and thunder, rain and hailstorm are expected at some places.
According to the Meteorological Department, on December 28, light rain is expected at isolated places in Kota and Bharatpur division and the weather is expected to be mainly dry in most of the remaining parts, whereas from December 29, the weather will remain dry and there will be dense fog at some places and the temperature will rise. There may be a decline.
