'Ram Rajya' means education, health care for all: Kejriwal

Calling for establishing “Ram Rajya”, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said no child in the country should remain illiterate and no one should be deprived of healthcare.

Participating in Ramlila in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar, he said AAP is working on the “principles of Ram Rajya” to serve the people of Delhi. The former Delhi Chief Minister said that everyone should emulate Lord Ram’s ideals of justice, equality and service.

“We should take inspiration from the life of Lord Ram, who reflects the essence of Indian and Hindu culture,” he said. It is important that we pass on this cultural heritage to our children and ensure that they watch programs like Ramlila.”

Kejriwal said that under the concept of “Ram Rajya”, no child should remain uneducated nor should anyone be deprived of health care due to lack of money.
