After being stopped by the police at Delhi-Ghaziabad border, Samajwadi Party MP Harendra Singh Malik said that they have stopped us and are saying that the officers will talk to us. Samajwadi Party MP Mohibbullah Nadvi said that it is very unfortunate that the police has stopped us. UP Police should have been patient when the survey (on Shahi Jama Masjid) was being conducted. Samajwadi Party MP Zia ur Rehman Burke said that unfortunately, the police stopped us. I condemn it. Who will raise the voice of the public? If the police and administration are standing against the people then it is the responsibility of the opposition to help them. He said that we want to report the incident (Sambhal) to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. But, the government is doing all this to hide the misdeeds of the police. Burke further said that they (UP Police) forcibly stopped us and are not letting us go. The public is facing a lot of inconvenience.
