At least seven passengers were killed and several others injured when a Patna-bound bus overturned in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district on Thursday. Police gave this information.
A senior official said that the accident occurred near Gorhar police station area, about 50 km from the district headquarters. The bus overturned while turning on the road. Hazaribagh Superintendent of Police (SP) Arvind Kumar Singh told PTI, “Seven deaths have been confirmed so far.” There is a possibility that some more people may be trapped in the bus. There were about 50 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident. The bus was going from Kolkata to Patna.
