Shinde government's new scheme is attracting women voters, 'Ladli Behan Yojana' became a major issue in the assembly elections.
The campaign for the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra has reached its final stage. Voting will take place in the state on November 20 and counting of votes on November 23. In such a situation, only a few days are left for the campaign. Meanwhile, the campaign of Mahayuti leaders seems to be revolving around the Ladli Behan scheme. The money of this scheme announced before the elections is being deposited in the bank accounts of women every month. Now this is being mentioned again and again in the election campaign and the Mahayuti leaders are, in a way, trying to woo the voters by forcing them.
‘Ladli Behan Yojana’ became a major issue
Ladli Behan Yojana has become a major issue in the assembly election campaign. In the manifesto of Mahayuti, a promise of Rs 2100 has been made if the government comes back to power. Whereas in the manifesto of Mahavikas Aghadi, Mahalaxmi Yojana has been announced and a promise of giving Rs 3000 per month has been made. It is being seen that there is a lot of politics going on over the Ladli Behan Scheme. Now the leaders of Mahayuti are also giving controversial statements regarding the money of the scheme. Recently, after the controversial statement of Dhananjay Mahadik, now BJP’s female vice president and former Zilla Parishad member Meghrani Jadhav has also given a statement.
BJP woman leader Meghrani Jadhav had organized a campaign meeting in Kolhapur. During this, she was seen directly trying to force women to vote by taking money from the scheme. Meghrani Jadhav said, Ladies, I swear to all you sisters, when you leave from here, tell everyone to vote only for Dhanushbaan. If not done and if we come to know that something has been done here and there, then they (Mahayuti government) have given Rs 1500, we will recover Rs 3000 from you. Due to such controversial statement of BJP woman leader, politics has heated up in Kolhapur.
MP Dhananjay Mahadik gave controversial statement
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Dhananjay Mahadik had also told the voters about the Ladli Behan Scheme during his campaign. Mahadik had said that if there is a Congress Party rally at this place and you see women in it, take photos of the women who take Rs 1500 under the scheme and write their names. Mahadik further said that it will not work that our government takes the money and sings their (Congress Party’s) praises. Dhananjay further said that many sisters in Maharashtra are sitting with their chests held high. Who say that we do not want money but security. So don’t want money? Do you do politics with this money?
Not only this, Mahadik further said that now if women are seen in the Congress meeting, then go and take their photographs and send them to us. We will arrange them. If someone starts speaking loudly, hand over a form and ask them to sign it. Don’t want money. Will stop giving money immediately from the next day. Dhananjay Mahadik made serious allegations and said that he will get it stopped immediately. We also don’t have much money. Due to this, politics had already heated up in the state. Then the woman leader of BJP has given another controversial statement in this regard, due to which the opponents have started criticizing her.
