A 27-year-old accused, who was absconding after killing his wife in Thane district of Maharashtra, has been arrested from Varanasi after about 10 days. An official gave this information on Friday.
Thane Police Public Relations Officer Shailesh Salvi said that accused Vicky Baban Londhe had strangled his wife Rupali Vicky Londhe (26) to death in their house located in Ambernath area on October 8.
The officer said that with the help of intelligence, the police arrested the accused in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday and he is being brought to Thane.
Vicky and Rupali got married about three years ago and were living in a residential complex in Palegaon area of Ambernath city with their one-year-old daughter. It is being told that Vicky was angry with his wife because she was allegedly not taking proper care of their child.
